I have one here, Colonel. Sorry about the lousy hurried pictures. I has horrible plastic covers, but a right stout knife.

Thank you Joe. That answers my question. I've seen lots of stainless ones but I'd much rather wait on an old carbon one.

Amen to that. They're built like a tank. This one has a thick center brass liner that is cut down in the well.
I hope you get better covers.

WB that sure is a nice one. I've never been a big fan of scout knives. But I'm a sucker for Westerns,but some how the old carbon Western scout knives speak to me.

I guess i'm kind of the opposite Colonel, I love scout knives, but never really been a huge fan of Westerns. I do kinda like this one, though.
