I have one, knife is 1/2 inchs wide at frame, slighty more at scales. It fires on the weak side compared to other autos. Mine does not have the safety on it so I wouldn't consider it for pocket carry. Got two for $45.00 from Knivesshipfree around Christmas time. You get what you pay for. Mike

8) I have the Smedy and the Scaly. Both of mine fire so hard if you don't hold tight, they can flip out of your hand. Both models have slide safeties. Cool little knives! I'm sure some of them probably fire weak and some fire hard do to the fact that they are made in China and the QC is not the greatest but for $20.00 and $25.00 what can you expect?

Mitch your right about how they fire.....mine too will snap out of your hand if not firmly gripped.
Great knives for the price!
Couldn't tell they were made in China.

There is a seller on Ebay who sells better springs for the knives.

I purchased a couple of black handle ones without the springs and purchased the springs later they cost me $31 each ( that with the cost of spring ) delivered to Australia.
The only difference I can see is the price.
