All About Pocket Knives

I'm always looking for a few new additions to add to the knife drawer and here's my latest..



5 1/4" Northwoods Stag 2 Blade Hunter in D2 steel (Talk about a handful)

5" Scagel Bone Barlow in 1095 steel (Very hard to find with only 25 in bone )

4 1/4" Marbles Tortoise Shell Trapper in D2 (Queen Made)

4" Kutmaster Jigged Bone Stockman (I picked up this knife for $9.00 )

$9.00 Man, where are you shopping at? Every single one of those is real nice addition to your collection! All are real good knives, I like the Scagel in 1095 and the Northwoods in D2. They sure are starting to pay attention to the steel they put in knives these days. That's good, I like those 2 steels a LOT!

Congratulations, nice haul. You're gonna need an armored truck to keep all your knives in. I can help out, just send em over my way.

Is that a genuine old Utica Kutmaster? I don't think Utica used a lot of bone on the Kutmasters after the late 50s. $9 for that one is a good find indeed.
Those handles do look a lot like the handles on this old one.

great finds sunburst, I sold an old bone handle kutmaster cattle knife on ebay nearly a year ago, paid $12 and got about $35 iirc, it wasn't in as good a shape as yours. most you see are jigged delrin and not real bone. Yours kinda look like delrin to me but

I gotta say Sunburst I thought you might be eyein that Scagel Barlow, I love that knife, great snag. And I really like that Northwoods Hunter.

Yes it's mine as well, I didn't think I would get a chance to get one of these baby's since they were such a low run.

Isn't that an awful thought, that someday we may have to have a license.

Thinking again... ... I see so many people buying and trading knifes. How much trouble will we get in to with Uncle Sam by not reporting out profit? I have only sold one knife yet, and traded a few now.
Given some away too. Do we all do this like cash under the table?..

No, it's just an awful thought. There are groups out there that would like to ban knives and guns both.

My daughter checked into getting an ebay store. From what she told me, I believe ebay stores are taxed.

Just listing a few items now and then without a store is like a garage sale, no income tax on those. That's what I heard, please correct me if I'm wrong.

They all look great to me. Love that Scagel
