Not an easy pattern to find in good condition. Also called a Moose pattern they are large knives and the blades are impressive. If you have any old ones please post them here

Would this be an old Texas Jack? I'm not sure what make this is...I can only see USA stamped on the Blade, missing shield, and unusual to only have one pin? This cuts like a champ and won the cardboard cutting competition in my garage on garbage night.

Roger has usual you get an A+.Tendots that Camillus is sweet,love knives with an etch.

Gus ,I am in love with that Camillus,fine examples throughout,as usual Dimitri,Charlie and Roger.All knives shown are nice. I like these big single spring jacks. Sorry guys ,I like the newer Queen Blue Grass Winchesters.

Dimitri ,that last H Boker of Greedy's looks like the bone on my Cutsure and Camillus rooster combs.

Man, I like those Texas Jacks, they seem to have all the good stuff attachaed to them. Have to put those on my "look for" list.

Mr. Gulo....I've got to say, you have some of the most beautiful old knives I've ever seen. Anytime you post up pictures they are pretty much all stunningly drool inducing. Thank you for sharing them with us, they are most definitely appreciated!

Once again AAPK has educated me. I did not know the Moose pattern was also called a "Texas Jack". I had always been under the impression that a "Texas Jack" was a large (4" closed) two blade jack with a clip and a pen on the same end.
