All About Pocket Knives

I've been a knife nut for over 40 years...
Recently I decided to concentrate my collection on my favorite brand...Schrade
Occasionally I come across old beaters and sometime combine them to make one good knife...
Here's my most recent one...

I was given a 1 blade Chicago Cutlery folding hunter MANY years ago which I traded not long after receiving it.
Anyway, I was in a second hand store some years ago and saw a 2 blade version of my knife and bought it.
It's been sitting around for all this time because I just really didn't like it too much.
The main blade was mis-ground, a bit short and oddly shaped.
It sharpened up real good but was just an ugly blade.
I researched this knife a lot and only got the impression that it was made by Schrade for Chicago Cutlery.
No tang stamps but it just had the dimensions and look of a Schrade...
A few weeks ago I decided to take the good main blade off an old Frontier and put it on the Chicago knife and
lo and behold...SWINDEN PINS ON BOTH ENDS !!!
Confirmation...
So, now I have a knife I like so much I almost don't want to carry it...but I still do...daily
And with the addition of the pocket clip I can comfortably carry it in my front pocket.

TreeBlah, a welcome to AAPK from Treefarmer! Interesting username. I'm a big fan of folding hunters and googled Chicago P-19, interesting stuff. You have done a good job on the blade . Is the pocket clip original?

Not at all...it came off an old Bucklite
