Nice knife, I'm diggin' it ::tu:: ::tu:: Post WWII, 1946 to 1950 or 56. Go here: http://www.collectors-of-camillus.us/Ca ... illuss.pdf and scroll down to #17.

Welcome to AAPK maverick. You've found yourself a dandy there. The #17 is in the 1946 catalog (link provided by T.J.) BUT it's not in the 1948 catalog or any after that, including the check sheets. It sure appears the knife was only made for a year or two. What a dandy.

Hey Jerry, if you have not done so already, read page 9 of the 1946 catalog? It seems that the 17 was only offered in 1946. Several interesting changes for May 1, 1947.

Wow! Thanks T.J. I need to start paying attention to detail. It also says on page 9 that the pen blade on the #72 was changed to a clip blade as of May 1, 1947

Right!! I was kind of dumb-founded by the amount of information on that page. I guess we need to start reading more than looking at the purty pitchers. ::tu::
