Hey maverick! Welcome aboard!

I'm sure someone will be along that knows the dates for the double buttons.
It was made before the switchblade ban in 1957 is all I can tell ya for now.

Got some pics of it? We love pictures!

Joe

What would you like to know ? 1929 to 1956 by George Schrade , these doubles are more scarce than similar Schrade cut co. knives and in mint condition have been around 200 to 300 lately .... more in the past but things are down now . Yours is not mint and would expect to see 75.00 to 150 to the rite person today . hope this helps

Honestly it`s hard to date these Presto knives Maverick , some had the #s and some didn't there is theory and speculation but nothing that I`ve seen in concrete . Some had brass liners and some steel ?? its been discussed that brass would be post war - ish due to the shortage of it during the war ???? maybe someone else will chime in .

What's the length of it? There is 2 different lengths it seems the larger one is a little more scarce. Does your still fire?

Presto brand only made 1 size double bladed knife 3&3/8 I`m pretty sure the one partially shown here is stamped Schrade Cut Co. Walden N.Y. on the other blade . Cut co made 3 sizes in the doubles , 2.7/8 , 3.3/8 and 3.3/4 . most ( not all ) had brass liners AFAIK
