I just picked up this cool little German made picklock. It is 7" open and fires fast and hard and locks up tight with no movement at all. I only fired it once. When I got it it would not stay locked till I oiled it and then it locked up just as it was designed to. It has very little use but has scratches on the blade.

There's some great looking stag on that little feller. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the Germans (Italians as well) don't/didn't haft the handles on their knives.

Your knife was made in Maniago, Italy and imported into Germany by Herbertz. No automatics of this type were made in Germany. German law allows imports to be sold as "German."
The knife is an older transitional-type picklock and is reasonably valuable.
