I am posting these pics for MikeK, He sent me this case mako for a little overhaul. I put on some pinless bookmatched desert ironwood for him.

This was my last good piece of ironwood, had to dig around, i'm almost out. I did dig up a couple pieces, but nothing real special.

Good work, I love book matched wood scales!

Desert Ironwood is getting a little pricey these day. I heard it went on the endangered species, or threatened, one of the two. A lot would still come out of Northern Mexico though.
