I'm constructing three knife display boxes.

I'm retiring this coming September and for $hits & giggles, I thought I'd try selling knives at a few of the gun shows and such around Boise.....and I'm certainly going to need some worthy display boxes. I've got my DBA license from the Secretary of State's office in Idaho and have three wholesale accounts set up. I plan on carrying a wide variety, from some fairly high dollar knives (in MY world $100-$150 is HIGH DOLLAR!) on down the line to the Rough Riders, Steel Warrior and Boker Magnum line. And of course, if I expect to make a few extra bucks, I'll have to have a fantsy knife or two on hand. 
Here's the rough design on the first. Bear in mind, it's still unfinished, so it looks like barn wood right now. Roughly 20" x 30", made of black walnut with 1/4" cherry dividers....adaptable for different size knives and a "desert tan" felt bottom. Today, I'm in the process of making the third and last one for fixed blade knives. It's a little deeper and the pigeon holes are longer. They'll be lockable of course, with glass lids.
I always did love an adventure. I don't have a clue about selling knives but since learning about this site, I've learned a great deal about knives in general. I guess the object is to sell them for more than you paid, eh?

I like the individual nooks...Heres one that I use at flea markets,its an old artists supply case,that I converted over for knives.
Lets me see a hole bunch a knives at once.
