Wife's Mother Passed

Well I woke this morning to find out that my wife's mother had passed away overnight. She was 76 and been battling various illness for several years now. At least now she's at peace with her Father in heaven. We are obviously believers and know she's in a better place now. Would appreciate prayers for my fatherinlaw and us at this time of loss.

I am sorry to hear that Perry, but at the same time I am glad to know she was a believer and is in a better place with no more suffering.
I will keep you, your wife and father-in-law in my prayers.
May our Lord and Redeemer give you all comfort & peace.

So sorry to hear about your loss. But I'm equally glad that according to the Apostle Paul that we "sorrow not as those who have no hope".

Thanks to everyone for the post and prayers. Mt wife's father is doing fine. I'm sure the adjustment to living alone will be hard but the last 6 years were pretty hard too.

Make your love for your wife as real as possible Perry,love is the comfort to those grieving,words don't do much. Knowing she is at peace makes the pain just bearable.
I'll try to request prayer,if the weather allows going to church.
