too bad the main blade is ground down
but it is sterling
I was looking at a all metal IXL and started to look for other knives were the side scale is also the handle
it is a cheap way to save and simplify but some of the knives I have are nice engraved or precious mental
I have others that fit this description and this may make a interesting thread

Here's a few of mine:Some are sterling silver;some are aluminum;and a couple are 14k gold.Several are made by George Wostenholm. The last one(a whittler)is unmarked and the sides are one piece with gold covers over the bolsters and held together with screws. The small pen blade is the thinest I have ever seen.
