Keep us informed, I will do the same. Some bid me way up on one item and dumped me, oh well. Not what I wanted to pay but there were items here you do not see. I did try for one particular item but missed by perhaps (1) bid. That said I've been playing enough that I'm happy with my choices. BH Its all good!

Glad you got it David, I bid on it myself.I''ve only seen a couple Case Bros. 50 pattern with ebony handles.I did get a Union Cut.Tidioute with ebony.It's the only one I''ve seen in ebony.

I guess we are guilty of running up the price on each other. I bid on the Tidioute ebony too but it didn't take my last bid of $400. So I chased the Case Bros instead. TRADE YA LOL

One of the what I considered the pick of the litter was going cheap and I bid on it a couple times.I ended up not getting it, but it was the last auction to close.It keep getting extended and has result I missed out on a couple I wanted, because if I got the big dollar knife my credit card bill would have been real BAD.

Just got mine in the mail today. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ebony 6250 4" Ebony toenail. This old girl screams history. I love an old knife with Character.

I got my purchases today also.I got a few knives, knife blades, and the most interesting in my opinion is a Maher & Grosh paper lot.It had 3 catalog reprints and some old original items.First is a post card.Front and back.Roger

Also in the same lot are a couple Maher & Grosh invoices.The pink one is from 1910.And the blue one from 1882.

And last but certainly not least is an original 1929 Maher & Grosh catalog in the original envelope.Also in the catalog was an original unused order form.

These 2 blades are Case Brothers factory control samples for the 51 pattern sunfish knife.The pen blades in the 51 were long and slim.

Here you go David, Union Cut Tidioute ebony sunfish.

Here are a couple of New York Knife made sunfish.1st is a New York Knife stamped with Hammer Brand etch.The 2nd is a Zenith stamped Marshall Wells with Marshall Wells etch.

Lastly a John Chatillon with a sheild.
