All About Pocket Knives

Picked this up this past week-end.. Did not know Kershaw has these.. Been looking for a folding saw for a while so figured why not.. Hopefully get in the woods and cut something soon.. And.. No.. I aint got pics!! John

I have a similar Gerber saw that goes deer hunting with me every trip. It's great for removing those limbs that seem to always be in just the wrong place when you're hunting.

Still have not cut any thing........ ......... YET!!!!! John

Good deal! Let us know how it works. It sure looks like it would be handy to pack with you on the mower for all these stupid Bradford and Cleveland pear trees whose low branches seem to grow over night around here!

Going to try to cut down the Chritmas tree today wiith it.. Every year we cut down a tree.. Like the adventure and fresh smell of pine in the house.. See how it goes.. Bringing my trusty bow saw as a back up!! John

Well.. It did an ok job.. A little slow but got the job done!! Seems the teeth were getting clogged with sap.. Would probably work better on dead/dry stuff.. BUT hey.. At least I got to use it!! John

I've found green evergreen trees are always a little tougher to saw because of the sticky sap.

That's true.

What I forgot to mention: Solid lock up in the open and closed position.. Zero flex while sawing.. And I cleaned up the saw with a bath with Simple Green.. I use this stuff by the gallons.. Saw has a nice feel to it too.. Not cheesey if you know what I mean.. John

John I think you'll find it a very useful tool. I wouldn't get rid of my Gerber saw no way no how.
