Rough Riders

While I've been using and collecting over the years[I'm 63], just recently I've come across the Rough Rider knives.
A lot has already been said about them and I'll just add that they are not bad..
Here's a few.

I have just one RR, a Half Hawk that fills a niche for me (like a Case pattern 17 Loomfixer)
Not bad for the money, though I try real hard not to send my $$ 'over there'.
Too each their own

Producer you have a nice looking colorful collection. Do you carry or use any RR and if so what has been your experience? Do they sharpen up well, hold their edge for a useful time, and resharpen easily? Do the blades stay tight or do they get loose? I have no experience with RR so any input you might give is appreciated.
Also can you identfy any handle materials e.g. synthetic or ......?

Have had only six months of time with them but it's been a positive experience so far.
Daily hard use on the small lockback = no blade play vertical or latterly.
440 stainless. All came sharp to very sharp and fairly easy to sharpen.
Handles are bone when stated or synthetic when noted.
Sawcut series are great.
Long micarta handled work knife had a so so linerlock action.
Small yellow sodbuster with linerlock is excellent.
Some have better snap than others.
None have been a bust or throwaway.
I'm not saying these are the end all knife brand but I will say you get your monies worth.
I carry a Case Sodbuster Jr to work and a RR Electrician or Half Hawk with the Soddie.

I like RR's myself--everybody I know owns one and carries them daily I give them away at our annual X-Mas Eve party every year--the canoes are nice EDC's and I've carried a couple different Congress patterns they probably have a dozen Congress patterns and just as many different Whittler patterns--I've got 20+ different patterns in amber bone and still 20+ shy of having them all--the price has been going up on RR's but they're still good quality for the $$
