Hello Everyone,
I stumbled upon this forum during a search for GEC knives, did some reading, and registered today. I look forward to doing a lot of reading, and occasionally adding my two cents, although I will admit to being something of a newbie with the traditional knives. Here's a brief synopsis of my knife journey:
Always enjoyed knives, and carried a few over the years. I don't know if it is bad etiquette to mention other forums by name here, so I wont for now. I was (and am still) active on another knife forum that has a sizeable traditional sub forum, where I have learned quite a bit. I used to be a tactical knife guy and was active in yet another forum where members were mostly interested in Emersons and the like. Those knives are fine, but truth be told, I was not very impressed with the people, but enough on that.
I am happily married and make my living through traditional martial arts, which I still teach and train after 30 years. Well, that's all for now, and looking forward to the community.
Gary
