the questions: can the old pin stock be used as filler on center (steel) liner as fill for worn area around pivot?
what is the melting temp for the NiAg ?
the wear characteristic must be good since it was the pivot pin, as durable as the brass liner? the springs had lots of scale and were not easily cleaned but my trusty Imp Ireland scraped it off

I don’t think it will work too well.
It is way too soft to wear against the tang.
That was probably caused by slop in the blade, maybe caused by wear on the pivot pin.
It would be easier to make a new liner out of some sheet stainless steel.

Brass is an alloy of copper & zinc.
Nickel silver is an alloy of copper & nickel, sometimes with zinc.
According to brazing.com the melting temp of nickel silver is 1680° F.

center liner holes were often made oversize to aid in assembly, especially on lower end multiblades and will have no effect on operation of the knife
