Another 72 Mod

Here's one I finished recently. Started out as this....

The customer decided on this hunter green jig...here's the end result.

I really liked how this one came out. I wasn't sure how "natural" the hunter green would look, but it goes well with this pattern.

Glenn, I certainly do not wish to take away from your superb craftsmanship. That is a given at this point, but I sure do hate to see a perfectly good Boy Scout knife being run through the chop shop. Still the same, I'll have to say you did a fine job with it................dang it! :lol:

Phil- I do agree with you that it is a shame to ruin such a decent specimen of knife. Of course, that is up to the customer.

Dimitri- that shield is bought. I am not quite to the point where I would make my own shields yet. And it does save on time...

Like the 72 with green handles.I could see why the customer wanted it rehandled.The material they used on that model knife once it starts will keep on shrinking.
