New Eye Brand Tang Stamp?

I just noticed this on Ebay. This is a tang stamp that I haven't seen before.
The knife itself has a Chinese look to it (IMHO).
I hope I'm mistaken.

I suspect it to be a new stamp but not counterfeit.

On the newer German eyes the blades have matchstriker pulls this one you showed has not.Typical for cutlery from the far east are the matchstriker pulls.My best guess is it's an older genuine German eye.Gus.

What model are they listing it as on EBay. With the model number I can check my inventory and post a picture of the tang that I have in stock. I get all my German Eye direct from the US importer.

We are located in Linden MI. We do not have a storefront just online. I have been in the cutlery industry since 1999 and my mentor was W.R. Case Knives sales rep for the State of Michigan and northern Ohio. He moved here in 1956 and I started working for him in 1999. He showed me the ropes as he still had about 100 wholesale accounts and ran a retail shop at GTC in Taylor, MI. My mentor Jake Leonard passed away in 2006. I don't remember the exact listing, but the model number wasn't a red flag (if I remember correctly).
I think all bets are off on aging Eye knives by the usual methods.
Some of the newer ones have matchstriker pulls, and some don't.
Some have round shields, some have badge shields.
Some have the old style 2 and 3 line etches.
Some have the single eye stamp, some have the arched stamp.
I guess we just have to depend on our own experience, and hope for good photos in auctions.
And one of the most important, know your seller.
Guys like Ray (Sweetwater Knives) can always be counted on to be fair and honest.
