All About Pocket Knives

I was going through the junk box and found this old Blatz Beer opener Camillus knife. Very poor condition, but I imagine seldom see. Don't drool over this Dale it will be in the next box of goodies I send your way.

I have another similar one Bob, also sent to me by a generous AAPK member, Welder Bob.
It is the only 5-line Camillus tang stamp I have seen.

If I was still accumulating, I would have to have one of those for sure. I will keep an eye out though.

....dale, I thought I had one stamped like that, but it's not. it's the small pen blade on a Camillus lobster knife, it's not 5 line, it's 4line stamped lengthwise because the blade is so narrow...another brain fart!!!!!........ ...............

There are a lot of variations of the Camillus tang stamps and those little blades; especially with a cap lifter had some odd shaped tangs. I guess they were just being creative in getting the stamp on the oddly shaped tang.

My paternal Grandfather started this business ca. 1905 I have been told. I am not sure when they were giving these away, but my Father left it to me in 1989.
