I haven't ever seen a Remington in this pattern. Is there a pattern number? If so, we could look it up, however, if there isn't a pattern number, that's a bad sign. It's true some Remington's didn't have pattern numbers, but they are somewhat rare. The pins look like they are made from a material different from the bolsters, another bad sign. Typical of German made knives, but not for Remingtons. The jigging doesn't really look Remington to me, but close. Finally, the stamps don't look quite right.
All in all, I don't believe that that knife is an authentic Remington. Sorry.

It's not a old authentic Remington. It looks like one of the German fakes made in the 1970's.

Yeah this knife doesnt look right to me at all. To me, by the stamps and how its heavy on one side of the stamp says that someone has stamped it themselves...I could be wrong tho
