Scout knives-My Collection

Hey guys, apart from having a strong affinity with all things Schrade, i have also been a keen Scout knife collector. This pic is from my knife "chest". In the days/weeks to come, i will try and get some individual pics to show you all.

Very nice collection you have going there. What's with the absence of Camillus 1047s and their clones. Have you just not gotten around to them yet?

Jerry D., is this what you are looking for. There are quite a few more in the collection, but it was all i could fit in the drawer without overcrowding.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, Tony.
There was a white one on Ebay that just went off within the past 24 hours at a very decent price.

Jerry D. the white ones are usually much sought after, and i have seen them go for some crazy money.

It's usually the real shiny ones that fetch the big bucks. (it's my understanding they were only made 1980-1984) If you keep an eye out, you don't have to pay an arm and a leg. One showed up this morning in my saved searches. The Dusty Duck has it. It's not in pristine condition so it could go for a reasonable price. I don't think it would take much to clean it up quite nicely. We have a few fellas here on the forum that could make it look like brand new if that's the kind of thing you like.

you`ll apreciate these..... Here`s a BoyScout single that still has the faint etch and the Girl Scout model that was listed it the 1940s equipment catalog both were made by Schrade
Both are automatics.

Jerry D., that is a good example....the blades look untouched, and would clean up OK, with plenty of elbow grease. It would be nice to have a mate for the brown one. Many thanks for the 'heads up'.
Wiseguy. They are a couple of pearlers you have there. Those scales look super good, and the jigging is unfamiliar to me. I would love to own a flick knife, but unfortunately, it will never happen out here.
