camillus #72(1946-47) on ebay

...anyone on aapk pick up the mint(except for small tarnish mark on coping bade)-1946-47 Camillus #72 that just sold for $179.00?????....beautiful knife!!!!..but as mickey newbury said "might as well be the moon".........

I have that one on my watch list. Could tell it was going to go for a wad of money but $179.01 ?????
There was a bone handled Camillus 69 that went off tonight for $131.51.

I was watching that one . I was also watching a Schrade 863 that went for $22.01.I think I know the buyer of that one.

Tommy -- Get all of yours polished up and you could call them mint and sell them for that kind of money.

..........jerry, that's one knife I wish I had a mint example of!!...I've got one of the split-backspring originals with rogers bone that is close to mint, but I really wish I could have gotten that "72".......I bid $105.00 on it and I wasn't even close!!!..............

..........dale, my pockets ain't that deep, either!!.....if i'd won that 72, even at $105.00, i'd be explaining to my wife what happened to the grocery money and eatin' "beanie-weenie's the rest of the month!!!!.............................
