Got mine in yesterday,,great Case and Bulldog price guide. a little disappointed that it didn't include more manufacturers....Oh well,what do you expect for $17 ????

I'm curious of what your evaluation of this book is for those who purchased one..Johnnierotten has already shared his thoughts..

Have the Bulldog prices changed very much from the previous edition??

Is there any pricing on the Case/Tony Bose Collaborations..??

In answer to your question on the bulldogs the Stags have increased considerably, probably a right move as there is a movement towards natural handles. Still it would be hard to sell these knives for book value day in and day out.
I am a little disappointed that there was not more thought into increasing the values on some of the rare low production 1st generation knives. A lot of these rare knives have not been adjusted in price since Tony Foster compiled his booklet in 1990. These particular knives are extremely hard to find and command a premium in the marketplace compared to the standard production bulldogs.
There are a few BKC#s that some collectors feel were mistakes in the previous volumes that have been carried forward such as BKC#355. This knife is a Dk. Butter and Molasses Cuttin Horse listed at 300.00 in all of the past Parker books. It is the opinion of some collectors that this was a mistake and it was confused with BKC#356, a (not dark) butter and molasses cuttin horse with only 24 produced compared to 300 of BKC#355. Both #s are listed at 300.00 although Tony Foster's booklet in 1990 makes a clear distinction in the values. #355 will not come close to commanding the higher figure, rightly so. A few others I could point out but won't in the interest of not boring the readers.
All in all I am satisfied with the book. I guess we can't expect perfection and certainly can't deliver it ourselves.. I hope this helps with regard to the older bulldog section. Thanks for asking.
