All About Pocket Knives

Hey guys,
I had the good fortune of finding 3 old folding knives in the past week.
2 had fairly rusty blades, but a couple of members on here were really helpful
with info on them.
Well, I found the third one this morning at a thrift store and the blades seem to be in really nice
shape. I'm just trying to figure out which model it is.
It was made by "Robt Klaas" Solingen, also marked Rostfrei with the 2 birds. There
is no badge though and most of the Klaas knives I've seen on here have badges.
Anyways,. here are a few pics....... If anyone knows the model # or has any info,
I would greatly appreciate learning more about the knife!

sorry i don't know any info on this one that will help ya any ....but someone will be along soon!

All I can tell you is that Rostfrei is German for stainless steel and it a good looking knife.

It was made between 1934-1971
Best of luck finding a model number.
Klass didn't stamp model numbers on their knives until 1972.

Junebug - I know, I've been INCREDIBLY lucky the past week or so, and not just with knives. I found a couple
of old straight razors, a bamboo fishing rod in its original wooden box, etc, etc.. Stumbled on an estate sale across the street that is still going on. I come out of there every day with new stuff. It is the estate of an old timer who ran \ a family shoemaker business. The building/company is about 100 years old, and the grand kids are selling it all off. Today I got 3 carnival/circus posters from the 40s-50s and an 1890s quartersawn oak dresser, all for $35. They are constantly bringing stuff up from the basement and said this will be going on for another 3-4 weeks.

Anyways, back to knives!!
