OK. I thought that I had seen a thread for sharing your rehandled fixed blades but I could not find it.
So. Let's start one.
This is my first attempt at rehandling a knife. I bought a (What I believe is) a Guttman Cutlery (Edge Brand) "Original Bowie Knife" that had real cheap plastic handles. The blade is real nice with a few blemishes but I couldn't get over the plastic handle so I took them off. It sat there for a couple of weeks while I tried to figure out what to rehandle it with and I decided a nice black buffalo horn would be nice against the shiny blade.
I didn't think to document it until now. Still at the last steps of polishing and waiting for my no scratch pink polish. Here's what she looks like.
Let's see your custom rehandles.
