Caldwell Cutlery - Van Camp - Germany

I've been searching around & haven't yet been able to find a match for this little pocket knife. Its 2-1/4" long. Appears to be all carbon steel. It has "CALDWELL CUTLERY" on one side of the blade, & on the other side: "VANCAMP GERMANY". What little I've found seems to point to dates from around 1838 to 1910?
I bought an entire box of pocket knives from a favorite seller at a flea market, as he didn't want to bother going thru them all or cleaning them up. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this little guy... Haven't seen one before. This is a picture just after going thru them, haven't cleaned any of them up yet.
Thank you!
