All About Pocket Knives

I would like to buy a boker shield for a model 5974 congress. I measured the hole and looks to be 8mm. I called boker the other day and they no longer have any of them. So I guess that makes it worth that much more. thanks

Did you talk to Terry? Seems to me I got 3 of them in the spring, maybe they are 9mm all check for you.

It was a month ago when I called 1-800-992-6537 Ext. 121. I do not remember his name. But 9mm is what I asked for. He said that was an old model and out of 9mm shields. I assumed he wouldn't be getting anymore since he didn't say anything about checking back at a later date 0078. I would gladly buy one if you could spare it. I measured it again before this post and came up with 8mm. My eyes and memory ain't what they used to be.

Sorry I used two on my knives and gave one to somebody on aapk. Call terry back and ask him if they are out of stock or are they no longer available. If your knife is a usa knife it's not going to match. I just received one for a 8288 usa I will glue it in,but it's a german shield.
