HET ! !! !
Any cutlers out there wanna run at resurfacing the portion
of this blade that has been ground??
Any NON cutlers got an opinion??
its not even deep enough to feel .. as ya run yer finger
from good part to flawed theres NO difference in feel.
So its NOT deep damage at all....
repaired surface should have factory
perpindicular lines as shown in NON damaged portion
of the blade.. Notice the raised portions are buff, shiney, chrome.. but the
NON raised portions are like satin finish with those decernable lines.
The flaws are on BOTH sides of the blade, bout 3" from tip
plse advise and kajeet to ya .....

but "Black Bear Road" was CW's greatest song!

Everybody should come around the big curve coming into Uray Colorado from the north with C.W. McCall cranking out tunes on the radio. What a beautiful sight.

Hey Blista',been experimenting with wood disks on the lathe I use at work charged with diamond lapping compound,closesed Iv'e come to the proper finish so far.Was talking with Eric(ea42) a while back(he works for Canal Street).He mentioned a wheel wrapped in pig skin and charged with lapping paste.He also said something about a reddish polishing powder,may have been iron oxide(croucus).
