I really wish they would bring back the 31's. An 11031SH is my favorite knife.

Nice ones Gents! Great thread! I personally love the extinct and "only made one era or a few short years" patterns. You are right IH. Scratch my head sometimes at some that did not keep making.

Here is a TESTED 551. Serifs font stamp. I have the sheath in great condition also (don't have a pic though). Sheaths are almost rarer than the knife. Both currently around the block on display at my son's house.

A favorite of mine also IH! Never shown these before. Pulled them out and snapped a couple pics for you. Near mint besides the blade specs and smudge. Would make a hell of an EDC. Thought real hard about pulling one of these from the collection to carry. But for now, I have enough EDCs.

Thanks! ::tu:: ::tu:: I've got one I've been carrying for just over 20 years now and two spares in case I lose it.

Hey Monk,

I am sure you are probably correct. Nice 31 patterns you have there.
timgreene48 wrote:How's about this Bradford bowtie fishtail.
BTW Tim, excellent example as the 51 pattern was used thru out the eras on very different frames. In Tested era, the 51 frame I have heard referred to as the 'Banana Trapper" and the "One bladed Hobo". The 051 frame was the fishtail as you have shown. The 51 pattern numbers was used a few times after on some very disimilair frames, like the 051 "Trailpacker" or "Hornet".

How bout a TESTED 06244 with square bolsters.

And a TESTED 6366 Green Bone Stockman. I have yet to see another 66 frame in my research. Only made in TESTED era with 3 options only available as I recall. Actually was on the advertisement section for sale for awhile. No sale. Rare knife.

And a CASE TESTED 61013 "Little Hawkbill". This knife was only made in TESTED era and only one option, Green Bone. 3-9/16" closed.

Nice knife! I have a XX 088, 089 and 090 also. Really like those Pearl lobsters.

Here is a CASE XX STAINLESS 4100 Melon Tester in pretty fine condition. The snap on the knife is really incredible.

Here is an old tested splitback 6352. Unfortunately the back scale has missing bone. The knife still has great snap.

Hey Dino,

Close on the pattern number. It is a 63052. If mint would be a real valuable knife. I have one . Screw it, will never get out what i have into it so, now I have a nice green bone TESTED $500 EDC. Sharp as a razor...

Thanks Dino. Those blades sharpen up like razors. Put that puppy in your pocket and enjoy it.

Here is one you don't see often and it is near mint. Only made from TESTED to USA and only in slick black. This knife is unused.

CASE USA 2109B "Gunstock Budding Knife"

I'd like to add a Case Bradford, PA 6294 BIG see-gar in old green bone that someone professionally cleaned. At 4 1/4" you'd think this knife would be a pretty popular equal-end jack knife, not sure why Case hasn't made more of these. ::shrug::
