It's chat room software, hosted by the web site, like AAPK.

No, you don't have to install it but you'd have to ask Bryan if it's compatible with Mac's. AAPK uses it for the chat room. When you go into the AAPK chat room, Flash Chat has to put some stuff on your computer in order for the chat room to work with your computer. If you're running a computer with software that's not compatible with Flash Chat the connection to your computer doesn't work so you can't get into the chat room. Hope that makes sense.

Jerry, did I read somewhere you spent sometime or leaved in Decatur Ill.? I'm going to maxwell st. This weekend, some know it by another name just wondering if you have ever been there before? It has been years since I've been there, hoping to find something good, at least a polish dog.

I lived just south of Decatur, in a little town on US 51 named Moweaqua. That was in 1961-1962.
I've driven past Maxwell street but never stopped.
"A Maxwell Street Polish consists of a grilled or fried length of Polish sausage topped with grilled onions and yellow mustard and optional sport peppers, served on a bun. The meal traces its origins to Chicago's Maxwell Street market, and has been called one of "the classic foods synonymous with Chicago"."
