"Carry" knives.

I'm curious....and relatively new to the knife collecting affliction. What do most of you guys use as your "carry knife" on a daily basis? I find myself switching off just about every day. One day, it'll be a Parker razor, then a Case muskrat, then a Remington Baby Bullet, then....God only knows.....maybe even a 5 blade sowbelly! Then, just for laughs and giggles, I'll carry a Smith & Wesson automatic SWAT. And, I've found that I refuse to carry a knife that won't dry shave the hair off my leg!!!!!!!! Hell, my leg looks like I have the mange, I've tested so many knives.

Is this "normal" or have I been so severly infected with this virus that I'm in the terminal stage? ::mdm::

Here are a few of my EDC (Everyday Carry Knives). I know I left out a lot, plus I have some new ones since these pics were taken.

I routinely carry 2-3 knives with me & one on my key ring, one ring for each car & a ring for misc keys.
No wonder I have holes in my pockets. ::doh::

Sorry man, but you only have enough for me for about 2 days.

8) I'am with Orvet! Counting my key ring knife, I usually carry at least 4

knives a day at work and 2 or 3 on the weekends. ::paranoid::

OK,

I'll get in step with these knifenuts as well...I have about 20 knives in my EDC rotation, and I usually have 2 or 3, both folder and fixed, on me as I preambulate about. ::nod::

I refuse to say, I'll just invoke my rights of the 5th Ammendment.  If I write it down, I may incriminate myself as being a person in the terminal stages of this incurable virus. Well, wait a moment, that may just very well be "NORMAL"? ::huff::

Hey Dale don't ya hate it when your choices are limited... ::mdm::  Very nice ::tu:: What is that bone handled knife under the yellow trapper???

I carry a yellow CV Case trapper, Case customized Hawkbill by Muskrat Man and a Rat 3 boot knife in Micarta as my normal EDC..I have started swapping out the trapper for a Great Eastern Herringbone trapper.

orvet.. :o ..a few of my EDC ?? This made me think

You remind me of my wifey just a little bit. She has a group of shoes that is way over a few of your EDC group. I have seen her (on one day) have 8 different pairs on. :o What has 8 legs and ????
When she goes on an overnighter he takes a suit case just for her shoes.
(a mung other cases).

Hey orvet, ever hear of cargo pants? Wear these and the possibilities become endless ::ds:: I personally carry a tiny little Case M1056 LSSP that a very good friend gave me :D (thanks Dennis). I have a knife roll and a display case for the nice stuff. I can only use one knife at a time and I found that for myself, If I try to carry to big a knife, I end up setting it down and forgetting it somewhere  and I can't afford to go losing my prize knives

The yellow trapper is an old Queen that was one of my first attempts at a rebuild, with Osage Orange, courtesy of Muskrat Man.
The knife below it is an Ulster (I think) ::shrug:: I would have to dig it out to be sure.

I like carpenter pants for the leg pocket to carry a large lockback with a clip. In the summer I like cargo shorts. Like my signature block says: "So many knives, so few pockets."

This is my current EDC. Of course it changes with the situation and my mood. I've been slipping a schrade cut sleeveboard in my pocket more and more.

sometimes I just can't bring myself to carry a "stock" knife

I've been carrying this pocket clip Benchmade for years, it's been a good companion.

Recently I picked up this neck knife. It's very fast with the friction Kydex scabbard, even if worn under my shirt I can get it out as quick as the pocket clip. Sharp, holly cow!
Its hand forged laminated steel by Murray Carter and this thing will shave worm hair!

Like many others, I carry one every day and some times another.

My everyday carry is a Red Christmas tree jigged bone handle Case Russlock. When I am out and about in the woods or fishing, I have my Case Rosewood Changer on my belt. When I go to town and want to impress the boys I will wear my custom sheath with a Kabar Natural bone Large Saddlehorn tucked inside on my belt. I also have a Case Seahorse whittler I am real fond of and slip that in my pocket now and then and a Schatt & Morgan Rail Splitter my wife gave me a while back finds it's way to a carry every so often.
