All About Pocket Knives

Hello;
Wasn't sure which forum to post this in so here it is.

You know how your at a sale or auction or mall etc. There it is a really neat POS that the price is fantastic, but what would I do with it. I don't collect them and there's really not much demand and I just don't need it. Well, here's the reason for buying it. A couple of years down the road you can trade it straight across for this from someone who sees all the negatives I listed as positives. First knife I have ever had handmade that was this nice. The maker is Linda Petree she also did the sheath and scrim. One of the pieces on thong is antler tip and the other is brown bear claw. She is from the far north country.

The knife is a dead ringer for a Ken Richardson...

I wonder if she studied with him? Or, is it possible that he made the knife...and she did the carving and scrim?

Bill thanks for the Keller link. It would appear that I received some bad info re: her making the Knife. Now I wonder if she made the sheath. Hey as I have said before and still believe in."The truth is what counts"

Well, whatever the case, it is a very handsome knife. It certainly seems that she did the skrim on it and that's what she's signing. You should be proud to own it.

to answer your original question, where to put it? put it in a box and mail to me and i will put it somewhere here for safekeeping.
