Buck 110 with Engraved Bolsters

Guys,
I have a recently acquired Buck 110 and the bolsters are nicely engraved. The date stamp is 2 dots to either side of the 110 so it must be fairly new as my date chart does not show this age stamp.
The real question is have you seen this work before? Near the back spring it is stamped JOHNSON - ENG. Is this an engraver who you recognize? Does this enhance the value?
I will attach some photos and as always, I will appreciate any help,

Ray, not sure about the engraving or the JOHNSON-ENG stamp, but I can tell you the knife was built from 1981 - 1985 (four dot knife) and was the first 110 knives with 425M blade steel (prior steel was 440C, later was/is 420HC). I do see lots of Buck 110 knives that have nice engraving that wasn't done by BUCK - the big bolsters are popular with engravers. Nice knife! OH
Ps The collectors with the most BUCK knowledge (BCCI members) hang out on the Buck Sub-forum at the Blade Forums - that includes Joe Houser, Bucks historian and customer service expediter - you may very well get the answer there.

NIce 110! I know this thread is almost a year old... I had to chime in.
You and I met some years ago in Georgetown. I bought a couple of knives from either you or your buddies. Obviously, we're sharing the same hunting grounds... You definitely scored with this one!

Thanks, Bill. I recall our meeting. You should join us again on some 1st Saturday. We alternate between The Pit in Georgetown and Arts in Florence. The Pit is up next on May 3.

I had never seen one like it and I also thought it was good work.
I have since sold it and I trust the buyer is enjoying it.

Ray, I had forgotten I had seen this knife
but I recall a dealer in Fayettville NC who has (a few months ago) some similar Buck (and other) engraved knives. I'm heading down to Darlington SC on Tuesday for a few days of turkey hunting - if I can make a little time I will stop by in Fayetteville and see if I can learn more (just for the sake of finding out.)
