Case 6220 question

I have a Case 6220 I am looking for info on, I haven't found much. It is a CASEXX over SS over USA so I assume it is a 65-69. It looks to have jigged, red delrin scales. Is this a common knife?

From the info Cutty posted, it would seem that Blademan13's peanut might be in the 1980-89 range as it uses "SS" rather than the whole word "STAINLESS". A good picture of the tang would remove all doubt.

Look closely on each side of the "SS" stamp . You should see some dots on either side . That would confirm treefarmer's thoughts .

Treefarmer is correct, there are dots on each side of the "SS". Guess I was only off 20 yrs or so....
