All About Pocket Knives

I did a quick search and was surprised that no one has yet introduced Entrek knives to the forum. I would like to correct that situation post haste.

Meet the Entrek Bravo 11 CPM 154 CM.

Entrek knives are made by master knife maker Ray Ennis, in his shop in Utah. Ray has been hand making his knives since 1973. I purchased this particular knife from DLT Trading Company who commissioned Ray to work up a limited number of his Bravo 11 series knives in CPM 154 Stainless Steel. Ray normally works in specially treated 440C.

The knife is 9 3/8 inches overall, the blade is 4 3/4 inches in length, and is 1/4 inch in thickness. It is a full tang knife with black canvas Micarta handles. The red liners designate the CPM 154 version of the Bravo 11.

Ray says he makes "Knives With Muscle". I certainly won't argue that point. He sold me.

I have found myself being drawn to some heavy duty fixed blades here of late. I have been in love with my Bark River Bravo 1 for a couple of years now. This year at the Blade Show I picked up an ESEE 4 fixed blade that I'm quite smitten with. Your knife reminds me a bit of both of those two. They all three share hefty blades and no nonsense design. What's not to love ?

I just might have to check into on of those as well.

Thanks guys. I watched Ray's videos on YouTube and knew I would have to try one. Now my quandary is which one should I get next.

Looks as he has achieved the muscle part of it, thats for certain sure !!!
Any fix blade I plan to carry tho, I got to have the holster style sheath
that allows the knife to hang in a comfy position, also while sitting, seems
like that is a favorite position for me lately,
Great to see new straight knives ya never saw afrore

Great lookin' knife Rick, very impressive slab o' steel indeed.

I have the Javelina and like it. I'd like to get the SERE 18 Bravo but it's so new that I could find no dealer that has it yet and it's little more than my wallet will allow if bought off Mr. Ennis's webs sate. It reminds me of the ESSE 6 and my Javeline reminds my of the ESSE 4.
