::welcome:: Nika
The lower knife looks like a Colonial fish knife.

The top knife is made(stamped)by Vernco;a company that sells mostly kitchen cutlery.the knives are easily identifiable by the slab of black plastic combined with a wide band of stainless steel.These were made in Japan and are pretty good quality knives.I have several Vernco folders as well as some kitchen cutlery.

Under magnification with one eye squinted and your forefinger in your left ear, I think Bill's right. The fish knife looks like it has a Colonial tang stamp.

Jerry, the last letters visible on Nika's fish knife look like " END", like maybe at the end of "Patent pending". Does that put some age on that particular knife?
