All About Pocket Knives

How do you tell a USA frame from a 10 dot 1970 frame. I know
that 1 has the scale pins closer to the bolster, and the other further
away. Which is which? I took pictures of 2 10 dot Muskrats to
show the placement but so far can't get the pictures to come up.

Hello All
The answer at last. According to Tony Foster the knife with the pins closer to the
bolster are USA, The ones with the scale pins further from the bolster are 10 dot
1970. The reason for the change was to keep the scale from cracking. So both
pin placements will be found in the 10 dot 1970.
Just a little information why things may appear different!
