L.L.Bean stockman ID

I picked up this knife from a dealer that says she was made by Camillus for Beans, What do you guys think??the blade is just like my #18.also there is only L.L.BEAN on the main blade tang nothing else.

Schrade made some knives for LL Bean, but I agree, that blade looks like a Camillus to me.

Thanx Dale.I've never seen that color bolsters.Wouldn't swindled bolsters been used if she was made by Schrade ??

Yes, Schrade would have used the Swinden construction if they had made it after the early 1960s.
That knife is obviously made with pin-through-bolster construction, probably by Camillus.

Nice knife Dog ::tu:: L.L. Bean used just about everybody through the years. I have a Buck 505 with their name on it and I even have a stag swinguard made by Boker for them and I can't say I've ever seen any other Boker made swinguard. They aren't shy with their pricing either.
