you see a knife that interests you. interesting club knife. "johnny muskrat club". you buy the knife off the bay. you get it in the mail. it's a lot worse than you thought. shield missing, rust, oil discolored and a 1/8" of one blade is corroded nearly all the way through. it breaks off with your finger tips. throw it in a box and forget about it? no. fix it. clean the blades, reprofile the broken blade to a wharnnie, make a new shield, polish and sharpen and back from the brink. a bone case that will work.

thanks guys, i appreciate it. i like taking a beater and helping it out a little. when i got it i could barely make out the blade etches. now with all the gunk out they are sharp and deep, almost like they were stamped. and it's got cv blades and sharpens easily. u.s.a. casexx.
