Its private property and no one was around, so I did not go in. But I stood there with my favorite Cattaraugus Knife and thought about it being made in that very factory.

Portions of it are caving in. I would love to have walked around in there but I did not.

A metal detector in around those bushes beneath that second floor chute might yield some interesting finds, but it's probably already been picked over.

Didn't Galvanic and others find a cache of wooden handles in the attic there just recently?

It's a kinda spooky feeling you get when you see the building in person.
I'll never forget it.

I felt the same way. How can we get a Cattaraugus site on this forum.???
