All About Pocket Knives

I was in need of a new pocket clip for my Scallion, so I got ahold of Kershaw Customer Service via their website and sent them an email.
I asked them if it would be possible for me to purchase a new clip and screws from them, and what the process would be......later that same day I received an email back from Molly in Customer Service saying that they would be happy to send me out a new clip and screws free of charge, and they would get it in the mail asap.
Less than one week later, I received a package in the mail from Tualatin OR, Kai USA Kershaw, containing a brand new clip and screws for my Scallion.
Now THAT is what I'm talkin' about there. Thanks to the fine folks at Kershaw for great knives and great customer service! That is just the combination that will ensure I continue to purchase and reccomend Kershaw products in the future!

Absolutely Mike. Customer svc. like that is what a company really needs to survive. I recommend Kershaw knives (USA made versions) all the time and at the price point it's money well spent IMO.

I've had dealings with Kershaw Customer Service one time and as you did Mike, I had excellent results. I too highly recommend Kershaw and their products.

i sent in a knife for a new clip and screws........and a note sayin' one screw in scale spins out time to time.


they asked me to send it in so they could see the scale screw ISSUE.....

one week later......they sent me a NEW IN BOX KNIFE, WITH LETTER SAYIN THANKS FOR GIVING THEM A CHANCE TO FIX MY ISSUE....AND TO SEE THE ISSUE IN HAND

Since I am so close to Kershaw I generally go into their office if I have a repair/replacement issue.
They help me every time on the spot! I don't think I have ever had to leave a knife for repair.

I took in a D.W.O. that I had given my dad about 25 years ago because the cover had come off ane was all chewed up.
They didn't have a blue cover, so the lady in the Service Dept. gave me 4 new covers in asst colors and 2 or 3 pivot screws so I could put on which ever color he wanted out of the 4 covers she gave me.

I think that is customer service above and beyond the call of duty, but it is typical of Kershaw!
