Just sharing I guess... I hope to hear if anyone has seen one of these before though. I found this recently here in Portland and had never seen one.

Very Nice. Old and has to be rare.
How long is it closed? Almost looks more like a corn razor than a regular razor.

The closed length including the blade extension is 4 1/8". The bone or ivory scales are 3.5". I mostly collect knives and Oregon related material. I have just never seen anything like this. I do love razors but this was my first because it crossed over into my other interests.

I was able to find out that Clauss was an exhibitor at the fair. I have not been able to find any references or pictures of any of these offered, pictured, discussed etc. a Jamestown Expo razor by clauss was offered on etsy but the listing expired, no pic or description. Otherwise, there are several Boker Columbian expo souvenir razors out there so that one is easy to find

I do believe that Mr Noyes called that one right. Looks like a "corn razor".
Either way, it's way cool and from a great old company.
I shave with straights and have one very plain Jane Clauss 5/8 square point with a full hollow grind. I really don't care for full hollows but that razor shaves as nicely as my old Sheffield wedges.
