All About Pocket Knives

I recently came into a roll of scout knives. If any of you are into scout knives, I am posting a photo of the knives and it can be enlarged. If you see one you like, let me know and I can send better photos.

Thanks for thinking about me John. ....the last few days I have been feeling poorly.

Ray....I might be interested in some of the bone scaled ones....and that Brownie ..if She's in good shape.

Ray, I'm looking for one with the carved BSA First Class symbol, I think those were only made by Imperial. OH

You don't do eBay, do you Colonel? Those Imperials with the "carved" scout emblem come up for sale all the time.

Of the first 100 listed there today (sorted by auctions ending soonest), there are at least a dozen with one of them in factory condition in the box. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid= ... &_from=R40

I took a look at that link and looks like I 'bout as well use mine for trotline weights.

For some, the knife market is up. For others, it's down. I think it all depends on whether you're buying or selling.

As a buyer, from my end of the stick, it looks like asking prices are getting higher and higher, although if I look at closed auctions, they seem to be selling for only slightly more than I want to pay. That's not a good barometer though because I'm a bit of a skinflint.

Jerry, thank you for the link. I do buy off of e-bay and have even followed two "carved" Scout knives recently, but I find I bat about .600 on e-bay and only take the risk of buying used items on e-bay when I cannot get it any other way. On the other hand, at this point in time, I have batted 1000 with AAPK members and have had terrific purchases from Ray in the past (four Buck knives so far). If I can get what I want from a fellow AAPK member I will do that in lieu of risking e-bay - people here on AAPK are honest and that hasn't been my experience on e-bay 100% of the time. OH
