Knife Company Letter Heads

One of my favorite and inexpensive forms of memorbilia are the old Knife company letterheads. I also like the ads but for this thread at least for now I am just broaching the subject of letterheads. These often were quite unique and elaborate. Unlike ads ( ads would appear in various magazines and therefore were more prevelant and likely to be saved. ) company letterheads are getting more and more difficult to find. I am attaching a picture of the kind of thing I am referring to. If any one has any other companies ( I would like NYK or any others ). Please post pics and perhapes I can figure out how to hard copy them. I find the art work amazing. LT

PS I just want to mention that I have some personal matters which have kept my postings down to mainly any questions I might be able to give some positive input to. I still have dozens of Schrades to post. In fact I have forgotten some of the cuts I posted so when I start again there may be some repeats. I also am interested in letterheads to swap or whatever should any one have some. LT

Very very classy. As always, I like this stuff--- the stuff that goes along with the knives, the letterheads, invoices, ect.
Thanks for the contribution, LT

I don't have any letterheads to show, but I sure wish I had some. I find these very interesting. I'd like to get ahold of some old stock certificates, time-cards, etc. as well. It's all very fascinating.

Great stuff LT. Thanks for showing it. ::tu::

LT,
That Schrade letterhead is a work of art! I've only got one, from Canal Street Cutlery. I inadvertently antiqued it by spilling coffee on my desk one day last year

Thankyou I would like some more but truthfully in some cases they are harder to find than the knives. LT

Nice Schrade LHs by the way, LT.
I'm glad to have you copy any I have. Let me know if the scans are clear enough. I might have one or two more, and will post them as I find them. Here's another Empire I just found!

I really like the paper also makes for nice displays with knives for the same company. A similar one from Cattaraugus just sold on ebay for 140!!!

These are great please keep this thread in mind should you come across any more . I am looking especially for those with knife pics. Here is a copy of an ad ( I am including it in the thread since it also shows a knife. ) I also am including a pic of one of these that came my way in pearl. They have achieved a slightly higher monetary value since there original price.

I'll take a 10 at the original price, shucks, I might even pay the Havana price!

Nice job linking the knife with the ad! ::tu::

Pure thievery picture stolen from ebay. I should feel worse than I do . As a woman in Ireland I once knew used to say ( due to her somewhat distorted use of the english language FARG EM . ) I believe this item is still on. LT

Not a knife company letterhead, but interesting.
I think the knife is an A.W. Wadsworth congress...
