here's another knife from a boxfull purchased last month.
The brass screws on the scales point to Miller Bros.
The blade has been ground around the tang so stamp is not visible.
I have read the article "Mint VS Everything else.." Is this a rare enough
knive to overcome the fact that someone fell asleep at the grinding wheel?
Let me know what you think.

Welcome Paul M ::nod:: . I'm no expert on US knives but Miller Bros is the only Co I know to use screws. Perhaps others will add more. If a Miller Bros, it was made late 1800s or early 1900s. I'm not sure what you mean by your question. "Is this a rare enough knive to overcome the fact that someone fell asleep at the grinding wheel?" I think that someone valued it enough to use it for years and years. A testament to a quality knife. Thus, I think it is something. :) s-k
