OK, I admit it. I'm partial to wood handles on knives. So, if you are of a like mind, please post a picture of your knife/knives, and the kind of wood used. 8)

I'll start....... Here is my S. K. Knives, "Little Belt" Skinner in Cocobolo wood.

Great idea for a thread Mr. Rick! I love wood handled knives as well.
Here's a custom job done for me by fellow member Palladin 51 (Ken)...this was originally a plastic handled Colonial two blade jack, that he re-handled for me in Bocote wood! Ken made the shield as well.

Yes, great looking skinner, Rick! Hardwoods are some of my favorite handles, including cocobolo, ebony, maple, oak, snakewood, walnut & bokote. Here is one in coconut palm, not a commonly used wood. Also a cocobolo cotton sampler, Whaler and Eureka Jack. I just realized that a good percentage of my collection have wood handles! Oh, Mike, I just saw that custom Colonial. That is some of the best bokote I've seen!

Great knives Russell and Archer, really nice variety of wood there. Russell that Coconut palm is one I haven't seen before, the grain pattern in the wood almost calls to mind a jigging pattern at first glance, very cool.
Here's an unmarked old German folder, most likely from around the early 1900's or so...not sure what the wood is, but she's a solid old knife and snaps like an angry gator!

You guys have some very nicely figured wood there. These two Case pocketknives are the only two real wood handled knives that I own. Have some Buck 110 and Uncle Henry LB7 knives, but I think they are engineered wood and not natural. OH
