Prayers for surgery Monday

Well, after putting it off as long as I can, the time has finally come to have my left knee replaced with a prosthetic joint.
I have had joint replacements before; my left wrist joint was replaced 3 times.
The first two broke and the third one didn't work right, so I had my wrist fused.
I am anticipating much better success with the knee. Joint technology has come a long way in the last 30 years.
I am going to the hospital Monday morning sometime. I will find out the precise time on Friday.
I will probably in the hospital for 2 or 3 days and then back home.
I don’t expect any problems or complications, but the other medical conditions I have, Sjogren’s syndrome, can play havoc with my joints (the reason for the replacement) and can also mess with the healing process.
I probably won’t be on the forum for a few weeks; I don’t have a laptop so I probably won’t be back on line until the swelling goes down enough for me to set at my desk. My wife has a Kindle Fire, and if I can talk her out of it and figure how to get on line with the Kindle, I will try to pop in and say “Howdy” once in a while.
I will try and give Phil or someone a call and let him know how the surgery went and so he can post it on AAPK.
The cool thing about AAPK is that we are more like a family then most forums and we tend to worry about each other when we notice someone has been gone for a while. You guys are AWESOME!!!
As I said, I don’t anticipate any problems, but I truly believe that no matter how many wonderful things the docs may do, real healing only healing comes from our Heavenly Father, not from the doctors. Jesus the Great Physician created us and he is the one who can give us real healing. So I would appreciate all of your prayers for a healing and a quick recovery.
Thank you and God bless you all,
Dale
