I was hoping someone might post more examples of CSC's buffalo horn.

The Half Moon was my first CSC, and immediately became my primary pocket knife, displacing an Al Mar Hawk ultralight I'd been using for eight years. Buffalo horn was part of the Half Moon's appeal, but it wasn't so fancy I'd hesitate to use it. Buffalo horn also works for day hiking with the Squeeze.

The D'Holder is different. I had no idea buffalo horn could look like this.

Those are some beautiful examples. I love my CSCs. I'm concentrating on their reclaimed Chestnut versions.

The white striping in the Mahogany Buffalo Horn comes from bleaching it in the sun.

Funny you should bring up the chestnut handles. Can't afford another fixed blade but did find a chestnut handled trapper at a good price and a stockman. By the way I forgot to say really nice Handles on tht knife. Canal Street uses some nice materials don't they.
