Last night I asked if anyone had info on a Buck Ultima 1 I bought last weekend that has a "enjoy Coca Cola" blade etch.
didn't have pics, but I do now Would like to know some details on when and to who they were given/sold. Also a guess as to value.

Clark Doc, I've been a FO-NRA Chairman and/or Committee member for the past 15 years - every NRA and FONRA marked knife I have seen has been a standard production knife with the NRA or FONRA logo applied - usually a blade etch and a customized shield. I have never seen one marked as having upgraded steel. OH

Danny Boy, the tang mark on your Buck is Circa 1980 (definitely pre-85). It is simply an up-scale advertising knife - standard (but very nice) Buck with the Coca-Cola blade etch applied. Companies give high-end knives away to very good customers, much like the cheaper advertising knives are given away, but more of them. Here is an example I have of a nice quality Buck 503 advertiser - a standard knife of it's era with the etch applied. OH
